QA analyst will perform back-end and front-end validation for a large EOHHS initiative. Specific duties will include working with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Technical Infrastructure resources to ensure EOHHS Quality Assurance standards are met.

The QA analyst will review software development deliverables such as requirements and use cases for thoroughness and detail. The QA analyst will create test scripts based on user requirements and use cases. The QA analyst will execute system and user acceptance testing. All testing will be documented and all anomalies recorded and tracked to resolution.
  Responsibilities
 Experience required:
-----------------------

- Broad knowledge of testing approaches and techniques
- Diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Experience reviewing the work of business analysts to ensure well defined requirements and use cases
- Experience creating test cases based on well defined use cases
- Experience with quality assurance tools
- Experience with testing Health care Claim, Provider, Managed Care, and/or Member systems.
- Working knowledge of Health care business operations
  Requirements
 Experience desired:
-----------------------

- Working knowledge of Rational Unified Process Development Methodology with focus on requirements and test management
- Experience with Rational and/or Mercury Interactive Tools
- Experience mentoring cross discipline colleagues on creation of UP deliverables
- Computer Science degree
- Programming skills
- Experience with Medicaid or Health Claims applications
- Experience with EDI transactions
- Experience with databases

Skills needed:
----------------

- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively project managers, developers and business analysts.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in project teams, providing relevant quality assurance services
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and accurately execute and document tests.
- Highly analytic, needs to be able to independently analyze test results and be confident making decisions and recommendations.
